M103: Advanced Problems in Algebra A
Course Description
This course covers fundamental concepts of algebra, including exponents and radicals, linear equations and inequalities, ratio and proportion, systems of linear equations, complex numbers, completing the square, and quadratic equations. Students are ready for this course if they have mastered arithmetic with fractions, decimals, percents, negative numbers, and integer exponents. Most students who have completed a typical Prealgebra course are ready for this course. This course is for advanced students who have mastered the essentials and are eager for a more challenging mathematical experience.
