Course Description

    This course teaches the fundamental ideas behind the object-oriented approach to programming through the widely-used Java programming language. Students will learn about object-oriented concepts like abstraction and inheritance and shows how to define requirements and use cases and create a conceptual model of a application.

    Concentrating on aspects of Java that best demonstrate object-oriented principles and good practice, students will gain a solid basis for further study of the Java language and object-oriented programming development 
        
    Typical assignments and projects using built-in and programmer defined classes to develop full-featured, easy-to-use programs. This is a continuation of CS205 with more project oriented approach which will solidify the concepts learned in CS205 like Inheritance, code reuse, and error handling.
