CS106: Advanced Web Design with CSS&Javascript

Course Description

Want to learn the language of the web? Then this is the course for you. This course will go over how to create web pages using HTML and CSS, the languages web pages are written in. You will learn how to structure web pages as well as how to style them to create a aesthetically pleasing as well as easy to navigate website. While not a core focus of this course, incorporating JavaScript to our website to create interactive games may also be covered based upon the learning speed of the student.

This is a continuation of CS105 with more advanced topics such as Javascript.

Course Outcomes

Learn the basics of how the web works
Be able to create web pages using HTML and CSS
Learn how to structure web pages with HTML
Learn how to style web pages with CSS
Understand and implement various entities such as tables, forms, and much much more
(Bonus) If progressing fast enough, learn how to link HTML and JavaScript to create interactive games
