Course Description

Learn the basics of Music Production using a free DAW program. Basic elements of music are explored such as Rhythm, Melody, Harmony, Timbre, Dynamics, Texture, and Form. Students will apply these concepts as they create new compositions each week. Students will explore and compose different genres of music fused with electronica giving them exposure and appreciation of the various styles of music and culture but with a contemporary twist.  Lessons are presented in a Multimedia format with interactive games, activities, and loads of creativity.
